What Kalbi Is

Kalbi is a private app for couples. It is designed for shared moments, presence, notes, photos, goals, trips, and relationship rituals between two linked partners.

The website currently exists to explain the product and provide access to privacy and terms information.

When you use Kalbi, we may collect account information such as your name, email address, authentication provider details, profile photo, and linked partner status.

Depending on the features you choose to use, Kalbi may store shared content such as photos, captions, love notes, pings, goals, media lists, trips, budgets, dates, status text, approximate location-derived distance, and device or notification tokens.

Some app features may request permission for location, photos, notifications, or health-related step data. Those permissions are optional and controlled by your device settings.

How We Use Information

We use your information to provide the app, sync shared couple data, authenticate accounts, deliver notifications, show relationship timelines, power widgets, and maintain account safety.

We do not sell your personal information. Kalbi is built around private two-person spaces, not advertising feeds or public social discovery.

Content inside a linked couple space is visible to the two linked partners. Do not add content you do not want your partner to see.

We may use trusted infrastructure providers for hosting, authentication, storage, analytics, crash reporting, and notifications. These providers process information only as needed to operate the service.

Data Retention and Deletion

We keep information for as long as needed to provide Kalbi, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain security.

You may request account deletion or data deletion by contacting us. Some deleted content may remain briefly in backups or logs before routine removal.
